El Quiñón, located in Seseña Spain, became an icon of the Spanish real estate crisis. After 2008, more than half of the homes planned for one of the more ostentatious housing complexes remained unfinished and in the middle of nowhere. Very few people lived there for several years, which is why it became known as a ghost town. Nowadays, little by little they have returned to inhabit it, and the price of housing increases again every year.
